Mountain Trail

Hello everyone!
Its been some time since I've done a fully rendered scene just for myself. While its still nature, I feel like it looks dramatically different to my previous artworks, though the spirit I feel remains the same.

This time I used some rock textures with some heavy mesh displacement for the rocky foundation of the whole scene. Along with some moss texture and added dirt between the cracks it really gives the scene an initial complexity boost.
For foliage I relied on a geometry nodes setup I've been working on recently to create all sorts of trees. While I first thought about using pine trees, I later decided to go with beech trees. I had already scattered some dead beech leaves on the ground and it seemed much more fitting.
Together with the orange grass the whole scenes really gets a nice mix between the colorless rocky ground and the orange foliage around.
Rendered in Cycles and composited directly in Blender.
